Let's get to it. Get the beat
This is my party and I don't want it crashed
You know what kind of party I want?
My dream party, my party
I want my party in a music hall
I want decorations, lighting, like candle light
I want a disco ball and a dancefloor
I'm going to have a lot of dancers down there
I would like to have a big party
Yeah, a big party...
P-A-R-T-Y!
You're going to want to come to my party,
'cause it's going to be hot! hot! hot!
breakdancing, singers, dancers, dietary drinks
like dietary sodas or something
It's not going to go all night
(but) totally after med time
give me a "P!"
and an "A!"
how about an "R?"
yeah, I need a cup of "T!"
Why not?
At my party, you come as you are,
but not however you want to dress
At least have a shirt or tie
no birthday suits
no police or anything involved
Oh yeah, live music! Every kind of music!
My brother Jason is going to be on drums
Todd's going to do all the lyrics, and everything
performing live, with his own stuff
with me as the background (singer)
Amy, Sally, Colin, Angela Vickers, Karen Crooner,
Vicki, Zack, Carrie, Amy, celebrites: definitely Walt Disney,
Mohammed Ali, like Michael Jackson, Dick Cheney,
maybe my Mom and some of her friends down at the old folks home,
Yeah, LeBron James and Coach K, no police or anything involved
(tiny motorcycles?) Nope, no cycles (golfballs?) No golfballs!
(porcupines?) No porcupines, either, No Harry Potter, no birthday suits
no teasers

Todd used the prompt "Describe your perfect party" and Janet delivered. Brother Jason played drums, Scott laid down the bottom end and Todd played the skunk riff on guitar. Janet's niece, Ella helped on the P-A-R-T-Y cheerleading chants along with the choir. If you listen closely, you can hear the choir chatting, as though they're at the party, when actually Todd left a mic on and recorded them getting to know each other. The guitar solo at the end is by the late Robert Bittle, Todd's dear friend and bandmate from their 80s band, X-teens. Bill Newton added tasty harmonica too. The smart alec interjections are Todd and Jason ribbing Janet.
